On foot, by bicycle, on horseback, by motorbike, car or boat. There is a lot to do. There are a number of prepared routes, such as the already mentioned one from Cala Ratjada via Cala Agulla to Cala Mesquida. The trip can be extended to Cala Torta and Cala Mitjana (belonging to Artà). A trip from Cala Ratjada to Capdepera rates a visit to the Castle (and the market on Wednesdays). From Cala Ratjada to Font de Sa Cala and on to the road to the grottoes at Cuevas de Canyamel, the route leads past the Stone Age settlement of Es Claper d’Es Gegant (a well preserved archaeological site close to Canyamel golf course). For this walk it is advisable to contact Reception or the Tourist Office on the Plaza de los Pinos, in order to take part in a guided tour.
